What a find. This place is an absolute joy, thank you for sharing with everyone. It is almost home from home except we do not have such an amazing view. Very much looking forward to returning soon.

Fantastic stay again. Fishing hard this week but I did have a surprise on Tuesday. I caught my first Trout in Norfolk, after fishing over 60 years in Norfolk. Still the best holiday cottage in Norfolk. We're back in September, Thank You Ian & Jo.

Really enjoyed our stay at Swallowdale. Lovely welcome pack full of essentials and goodies. Bedrooms both lovely and comfortable with plenty of space. Kitchen more than well equipped with full instructions on how to use everything. Lovely scenery from decking, was even warm enough to sit outside a few times. Not many fish caught but plenty of wildlife to listen to and catch sight of. Would highly recommend Swallowdale to friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have stayed at 6 lodges in total in Brundall and Swallowdale is by far the nicest and best. Ian & Jo have put so much thought into this holiday home. We have both been gobsmacked at how much care and thought has gone into providing all everyone wants when they holiday here. You should both give yourselves a pat on the back. Once again you have made the cottage home from home. Changes to the cottage have made it very comfortable. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Lucky with the weather in the daylight hours but mostly rained heavy which affected the bream night fishing. Not done as well as in previous years, fish seem to be a lot smaller. Fantastic stay, gorgeous weather, with a beautiful setting. Everything you could possibly need is here. Loved the sunsets, daily duck and heron visits. Great fishing, caught an 8lb bream. Kids loved paddle boarding and kayaking. Thanks for our basket of goodies.

We have had a lovely restful week watching the boats and wildlife, (herrons, kingfishers, egrets, cormorants, grebes) listening to the owls at night and hearing the foxes calling to each other. Fishing, good days and bad days. We have stayed in many cottages throughout Gt Britain and this has been up there with the best, for cleanliness and every utility you needed was to be found. Enjoyed the chalet and the location. The weather was changeable. We visited places by car that 25-30 years ago we visited by boat. Salhouse, Ranworth, Horning, Loddon, Ludham and Oulton Broad. Very little changes. Would like to think we could come back.

Also had a great week. Excellent accommodation. Recommend Coldham Hall (across water) for good food - but not easy to find by road as sat nav does not recognise it! Hired boat for 1 day from Buccaneer Boats nearby, great day on water and nice to use river and get others perspective. Went to Norwich. Herons nest - heard chicks calling and saw herons supply but slightly out of sight, could just see nest sticks when wind blowing. Another pub for food - Ferry Inn - Stokesby. Thank you.

Our second visit to this wonderful holiday home. Had a fabulous 2 weeks (Don’t want to go home). Weather has been very good. It’s so peaceful just watching wildlife (and feeding it as well). Wonderful week, lovely cottage, children's first time fishing and both loved it. Very lucky with the weather, spent a lot of time at the cottage relaxing. Hope to come back next year. We all enjoyed the welcome basket.

Amazing lodge in a beautiful location with everything catered for. Wildlife is superb and with great weather, we spent many afternoons relaxing on the deck and just enjoying the scenery.

Lodge the best we have stayed in, it will be difficult to get better, fantastic two weeks, great fishing. Would love to come back however already taken next year! If you want to try something a little different! Horners (Acle) Auction every Thursday, great fun, don’t have to buy anything.

A blissful week away from work although the WiFi meant I was never that far away! But the welcome pack! It was very welcome!! And so generous. And the accommodation so well equipped too. Mixed weather - not into fishing so visiting local towns and villages. If you are into Cash in the Attic go to Acle on Thursday mornings and Horners Auction behind the big Budgens - fascinating. Today (Friday) an absolute scorcher and have turned bright red just from an afternoon outside!
