Great Yarmouth is located approximately 15 miles from Swallowdale Holiday Home, which can be reached either by car or train. Yarmouth is renowned for its long sandy beaches. It also has many attractions to suit young and old alike. These attractions include Museums such as the Time and Tide museum, which is open certain times of the year. Other attractions include Great Yarmouth Beach, Pleasure beach, Merrivale modal village, crazy golf, boat trips, sea life centre and donkey rides. If you enjoy walking, there are many walks on the Great Yarmouth Website. Yarmouth is home to dog, horse and stock car racing, so if you fancy a day or evening at the races, then this is perfect.

Along the beach, you will find Pleasure Beach which has many rides for all ages. Amusement arcades, donkey rides, mini golf are also found with many places to eat or just grab a drink or ice cream.

Great Yarmouth Nightlife

Great Yarmouth nightlife has so much to offer. The Britannia Pier Theatre hosts many shows throughout the summer from live music to stand up comedy. You can book tickets online at the Britannia Pier Theatre booking office. The Hippodrome in Yarmouth has many performances including musicians, plays, comedians and of course the famous Hippodrome Circus. St George's Theatre in King Street has comedy shows, musicals, drama, live music and pantomimes.

Along the seafront, you have much more entertainment such as a cinema, crazy golf, 10-pin bowling, pool or snooker, a casino and a couple of bingo halls.
